*Defender a idea…-> Green
*Defender a idea…-> Green activists, in general, of course do not deny that the enterprises have a huge effect on the behaviour of consumers, but that is why they exist!
*Nunca, em toda a história da humanidade, uma mudança social importante foi conseguida meramente pela acção descentralizada de indivíduos.
And what about the change of the consumer’s habits through the history of Europe?? For example, see the spread of the consumption of tea, coffe and sugar (the most known fair trade-products of today!), from the 17th century, all over Europe. But I could mention any other significant change, like the fashion – of the dressing – in the 19th century, to the spread of the washing machine in the socialist countries from the 1960s, etc.
It is easy to see, that it is the area of consumption where a lot of „important social (not political, nor economical) changes” has been reached by individuals.
